Alumni Connect is a Microsoft Teams-based lifelong learning community that is 100% free for Army War College graduates, and it is part of the .edu environment. USAWCF is a private organization that graduates can become members of for a fee.

Can I post Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) / former For Official Use Only (FOUO) info to the Alumni Connect site?
NO. Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) / former For Official Use Only (FOUO) info is not allowed on the Alumni Connect site. The Alumni Connect Site is only approved at Information Level 2 (IL2).
Can Personal Identifiable Information (PII) PII be posted on the Alumni Connect Site?
No Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is not authorized on the Alumni Connect Site. Personal identification numbers: social security number (SSN), passport number, driver's license number, taxpayer identification number, patient identification number, financial account number, or credit card number. Personal address information: street address, or email address. Personal telephone numbers.
How do I change my password?
Sign in to https://office.com/signin with your .edu account.
Go to Settings (The Gear icon - upper right)
Change your password.
Enter your old password.
Create a new password and confirm it.
Select Submit.
You will be asked to enter your new password
What is the .edu account retention policy for the USAWC Alumni Connect account holders (Former USAWC students)?
In accordance with Department of the Army policy, USAWC Alumni Connect accounts for previous students, staff and faculty will be disabled after 90 days of inactivity. If users change their password when Microsoft prompts (text or phone verification), the account will not be inactivated. After 6 months of inactivity, the inactive account will be deleted.
How can I get my account enabled if it disabled?
Contact the G6 at this email AWCOffice365helpdesk@armywarcollege.edu and provide your USAWC .edu account email address, e.g. John.smith@armywarcollege.edu. Explain that you are a USAWC graduate and your .edu account is disabled.
I heard that USAWC Alumni .edu accounts will be changed to add .alumni. What do I need to do?
In the future, USAWC US alumni students that registered will have their accounts changed from john.smith@armywarcollege.edu to john.smith.alumni@armywarcollege.edu.
USAWC AY21 International Fellows (IFs) alumni Students that registered will have their accounts changed from john.smith@armywarcollege.edu to john.smith.alumni.FM@armywarcollege.edu.
The change will happen automatically. After the change is made, all you will have to do is use the new account and the same password. After the change, the old account will not work for logging in to the Office 365 edu. You will receive a system email when the change has been implemented
