Recent Publications

Each year the US Army War College Press (USAWC Press) publishes a large number of studies, conference reports, and book-length volumes on a spectrum of issues central to US national security. While USAWC Press analysts write the majority of these publications, many external authors contribute to our study program as well.
The works included here are solely the ideas of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the official position of the US Army or US Army War College.

SRAD studies are published by the Department and distributed to key strategic leaders in the Army and Department of War, the military educational system, Congress, the media, think tanks, defense institutes, and major colleges and universities. SRAD studies use history and current political, economic, and military factors to develop strategic recommendations.
