Mr. Frank Wenzel Selected as Director, Army Management Staff College
Mr. Frank Wenzel was recently selected as Director of the Army Management Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Mr. Wenzel retired as a Colonel, having joined the U.S. Army as a Private in 1987 and being commissioned through the United States Army Officer Candidate School in 1988. He has a Master of Military Art and Science Degree and a Master of Science Degree from Kansas State University; a Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University, Fullerton; and is a resident graduate of the Advanced Operation Art and Studies War College Fellowship and the United States Army Command and General Staff Officer College. Prior to his present position, he was Deputy Director of the Combat Training Center Directorate. Before this, he served as Chief of the Army Leader Development Division in the Center for Army Leadership. He also served previously as a Seminar Leader in the School of Advanced Military Studies. During his active-duty career, he was selected to command at every level from company to brigade and served as a planner on division and combatant command staffs. He has served numerous tours in southwest Asia and has visited over 70 countries worldwide as part of official duties. Frank Wenzel and his wife, Kay, have three married children and eight grandchildren.
